Our Beginnings:
Kidz Country Corner is the realisation of a dream!
Over 4 decades ago, Pat Reen, passionate about children and swimming, started a play group from her home in PE. This developed into a fully fledged play school which operated 17 years. Parallel to this, Leslie Holmes, a lover of animals and children, co-owned and ran Holmeleigh Farmyard, a farm experience for children. In 1997, they realised that they could combine their experience, skills and passion to create an unique country pre school and aftercare school care in the PE area. They purchased the property that is now known as Kidz Country Corner and have made it into one of the most desired pre-schools in the area.
2022 marks 25 years of children (and now of children of past children) experiencing the joy of Kidz Country Corner - a milestone year!
Although having done swimming lessons from the beginning, our indoor pool was built in 2015 which allows us to teach all year round now.
